Take Care of Yourself: Reminder for ODL Students


        Fuel your mind and body

This reminder to take care of yourself before you find yourself skipping meals.

Your body and brain need better fuel,

      🥤 Drink plenty of waterHydration helps with concentration and energy.

   🍎 Eat balance meals - A nourished body supports a sharp mind  

  🚶‍♀️‍➡️ Move regularly - A short walk, a stretch, or even dancing around your room can boost your mood and reduce stress. 

     

     Better learning - Mental wellbeing

    You are not a machine. Learning is an emotional and mental process, and how well you are feeling has a direct effect on how well you take in and remember information. Therefore, do not disregard symptoms of stress or exhausting. Take a break, talk to a friend, or ask for help when you need it.


Open Distance Learning gives you the freedom. Use that freedom wisely – not just to study, but to live well. Because when you take care of yourself, you are also taking care of your future.
